I dunno about that STL trade. I don't think there's much incentive to move Parayko, and the offer doesn't really blow any minds in a sense. By default, TOR would have to overpay to get a player like Parayko.

SJ can't afford to take that offer in. They have too many bad contracts as it is.

Also I don't think Kerfoot holds that much value... 3rd line centers rarely bring you two seconds, especially from a team with high draft number.

I think this trade helps STL by taking Bozak and allowing them to resign Petro

Trading Bozak won't cost them much by default. He's still a decent player.

I dunno if re-signing Petro is even in the plans of STL...somehow it feels like they might be doing a bit of an age cut for their roster, like bringing players like Perunovich and Kyrou in.

My thoughts? I think you guys have an untreated obsession with an exhausting fantasy that will obviously never come true. And that this offer is a sad joke. We move down to get Hollowell?!? Good grief, man.

Hey, you asked. (shrugs)

Parayko is way more value than Nylander, st Louis says no. Especially with pietro unsigned and uncertain

So, one of the better face off centers in the league. One of the top tier shut down defensman in the league, an up an comer in barbashev, a prospect and a lst rounder for nylander and a bunch of other stuff St. Louis obviously doesn't want dumped with. Do you guys play GM on easy mode in NHL2020 and then export the trade to here? Why not offer up nylander for crosby, malkin and letang?

The Wild would probably take Bozak if the Blues look to move him. Doubt they'd give up anything significant, but the Blues certainly wouldn't be paying to unload him on them.

like to think of myself as one of the few somewhat sane leafs fans left. Of course I did go a bit insane after we lost in the (not even the) first round again lol

he's an elite shutdown #1RHD. Always more valuable than a sub point per game winger

I agree with the sentiment of others here, there is no trading Parayko. That being said, a fantasy trade for him requires the Leafs GM to lose and offer a painful trade. Pieces that you really don't want to give up like Nylander and Robertson and Sandin would have to be part of an overpayment you would never make.

Classic 11-asset trade, with one guy who I've never even heard of.

Edit: he's a 37-yr-old unrestricted free agent in the KHL lol

Better than I expected, but still hardly a 40 goal player.
