Fair enough. could be to any team really, I just knew CAR has had interest in the past so I went with them here. a 1st is fair value for Saad

Agreed. I hate to lose Murphy but I can't see Calgary accepting without him. If Mitchell is the real deal and Robo seams is serviceable we are in a really good spot here. If that isn't the case the defense is really weak. Eighter way this team would score a lot of goals. As far as goaltending we tighter go with a 1A/1b with crow and someone else (Talbot/greiss/khudobin) or we go Markstrom/Holtby and one of Delia/subban/lankinen backing up. Either option will probably cost in the ballpark of 6 mil. I went with the tandem because its more realistic, but honestly I would prefer Markstrom.

I would rather take Maatta over DeHann. Seeing as you’re stealing Pilut in the deal the trade should otherwise stay the same.

Salary cap aside, Carolina has had interest in Saad for the last few seasons so you’re incorrect. Just because you wouldn’t want him on the team doesn’t mean you know what the front office thinks.

Um, they had interest before they picked up Nino. Carolina don't need or want another overpaid middle 6er. The cap doesn't work, and they've not had interest since they picked up Svechnikov. Just because you're going off 2 year old info doesn't mean you know what Carolina's front office thinks.
