That DAL trade is a complete mess. We wouldn't move Heiskanen for Marner+ and you want Gurianov+3rd as well?

Even as a die hard Leafs fan I know that Heiskanen and Gurianov would never ever be packaged for Marner

I wouldn't trade Heiskanen for Marner 1 for 1, let alone add in the other pieces. I like Marner, I don't like his ridiculous contract and I'll bet Dallas gets Heiskanen signed to something lower.

Heiskanen is untouchable for us.

I don't think I'm stretching it much if I say that he'll be the best D in the league in a matter of 3 years or so, based on his constant development.

Kapanen, Dermott and the retention on the buyout equal just buying out Seabrook. Doubt Chicago trades Dach, a 1st and 2nd for Kapanen and Dermott.

Marner gets you Rads and Klinger. Nobody is giving full value for Marner at almost eleven million per. You might get more value than that but it won’t be from the Stars. I feel like I’m wasting my breath as you put Greenway in the top six over Dach 🤔🤔

Take out Kirby Dach and The First and you have yourself a deal.

I also love the retention, then buying out Seabrook. It’s a nice touch.
