I’m gonna say DeAngelo simply cause his next contract isn’t gonna be $8 mil like Trouba’s. I think Trouba will be better next year and is a solid d-man, but he’s paid $2.5 mil too much in my opinion.

I don’t know man. $6.75 mil is McDonagh money and I’d rather McDonagh at this point. At least he’d be able to play defense and help shelter DeAngelo. (I know that’s not possible) I hope he is able to rebound otherwise I’d try and move him before that NMC kicks in for picks and not bat an eye. Cap space is gonna be tight in 2-3 years signing all of our guys and Trouba’s deal is awful value for the 5th highest defenseman cap hit in the league. And he isn’t even a top 10 d in the league and never will be.
