Tkachuk is untouchable, especially for an over paid Marner. Leafs would need to retain

Marner trade is bad for Flames. They need cap to sign defensemen and Flames lost to Dallas without Tkachuk in the lineup. Shows he is very valuable to the team.

i think that nashville does need a goalie in fact, but other than that the andersen trade was more just "andersen for prospect" and i dont really care where he goes i dont have the hyperbrain to choose the ultimate prospect

That may be true, but Rinne isn't going anywhere and I think they'll give Saros one more year to see what he can do. So they won't be searching for a goalie this off-season.

i have witnessed quite a few hockey trades in my time and very few of them have made sense, i am just being realistic

i simply believe someone will take marner for far above market value and tree living might just be the one

Okay, so no logical reason whatsoever right? I think logic indicates that if anything, the leafs will get low balled.
