Description
Helm and Abdelkader come in and help the PK and have that line play the smash and dash similar to islanders. The deal is mainly using AA and Neal to obtain Pk help, make room for the kids, and save on cap space by trading Russell/Neal. I didn’t put them up but there is room for a prospect to push for the third line.

Second deal is moving a fin who doesn’t want to be here for a winger to play with mcdavid. JP goes to play with KK and oilers get a winger with mcdavid while keeping the other line together

Having broberg come to the AHL for one season to play with Bouchard for them to get chemistry down there before coming up to be a pairing in the following season or even down the stretch when injuries occur

Not an oilers fan but figured moving Neal to somewhere he gets playing time in a role more suited for him while giving up nothing

Bad trade for Montreal. Chiasson might be worth a 4th and Pulj à 2nd. DOMI alone is worth more than that .

Took value based on Montreal using domi in a bottom 6 role and refusing to even play poehling for a top 5 draft pick who only played one season in the NHL. The trade is mainly pullijarvi for domi and chia for poeh

Poehling is not NHL ready at the moment. He is only 21 . He needs time in the A but it doesn’t mean he is only worth a 4th (Chiasson) . Add Chiasson cap hit and it’s even worst . Domi for Puljujärvi is just not fair

Would it make more sense if McLeod was added, that then gives the future 3 centers of Suzuki, Kk, and McLeod. Plus danault

MTL is keeping Poehling and probably Domi too. Domi was only on the fourth line so CJ could roll 4 lines. Domi is a 50-70 point guy. He got 50 points while being moved all accros the lineup on an off year (mainly 3rd line). He’s worth more than JP alone. Poehling for JP is wayyyy closer than Chiasson for Poehling. This proposal is a big no-no for MTL.

Edmonton is better off not doing the Wings trade, Abdelkader really sucks.

There's no way Montreal makes that trade.
