I showed Koskinen games because he was claimed as a "backup" backups don't play half the season. Why would the Oilers move one of their top prospect for a guy that plays 15 more games in a season but has a weaker sv%?. If Andersen is so ****ing good why is every 2nd Leaf fan trading him this week. Just for you I'll use Koskinen 55 game season last year with his .906 Sv% oh boy a whole 0.03 lower then your boy Andersen during his 52 game season this year. Toronto fans need to get over themselves and their team win a ****ing playoff round then maybe you can have an opinion.

This guy just loses it. Lol I likely wouldn't move Andersen but he is FA next year and I don't think he makes sense for the Leafs long term. With that said, I think he's their best option for the net this coming season. I would think this deal is very good for TO since they get Bouchard but I doubt Holland would do it unless Bouchard just doesn't progress

I left out a 3 game sample size.. because its just that a 3 game sample size and if you watched the Oilers vs Hawks series you would know that most of the goals against were deflects, bad bounces and Teows or Kubilak left wide open like 15 feet from the net. I don't know if there more then 1-2 goals that would have been saved by a different goalie

Just using whatever makes you look good. Which is why this regular season is all you point to. Playins don't help you so they don't matter. Anything before this season doesn't matter either because it goes against your position. Just the usual only stats that matter to my position argument.

I literally just posted his stats from last season... and most people would tell you a 3 game sample size after a 4 month layoff is a terrible way to judge a team or player.

So flat cap only matters in certain arguments. Okay good to know the rules.

One year of $4M might appeal over three years of $3M for example is all I'm saying, maybe the flat cap will force the many free agent goalies to take less or shorter term deals then they want though, depends on every teams goalie situation obviously but some of the goalies available in free agency who are more of the backup variety are older, idk if teams will want to commit multiple years to guys who are in their
mid 30's, will be interesting to see where all of these goalies land.

I say that every year and every year GM's give money to aging vets and immediately regret it

A 37 game sample size isnt very good to go on either but for Koskinen its all there is and at 32 years old. Thats why hes valueless.

Wasn't arguing Koskinen's value just that I feel like he is a decent tandem goalie and there's no need to move a top prospect and high pick for the upgrade that Andersen is
