I say no to the sundqvist trade... never even heard of any of the guys that you are giving us, and sundqvist is the most influential player on our team

Perron is a possibility, although I love the guy and would hate to see him go

yeah this was proposed on a Blues team and I thought the value wasn't the best for the Blues

what if we switched the 7th to a 4th?

I really don't want to give up our first, but the value is just so perfect that I couldn't say no.

Don't trade your 1st rounder for a 32 year-old winger

I know we shouldn't be trading our picks but we do have two 2nd rounders, 1 of which is the 3rd pick in the 2nd round

The value is just so good though. He's only making 4 million and was on pace for almost 70 points! He also has 2 years left so I don't see him slowing down during this contract.

as you said they both have pretty low value

Halbgewachs just put up 35 points in 55 games which is not the greatest at 23 years of age, but it is improvement given he also put up 35 points the season before, but in 64 games. He's due for a new contract and best case is he would get somewhere in the ballpark of a point per game in the AHL at 24, giving him a decent shot at a 4th line role for the 21-22 season.

Letunov is probably the better of the two. He just put up 40 points in 50 games this season which is a big increase from the previous season where he had less points in more games. He got a short stint in the NHL this season in early February where he did get a goal in the 3 games that he played. I could definitely see him getting around a point per game next season in the AHL and possibly earning a 4th line role during the 20-21 season. He could become a decent 3c one day if all goes well.

Alex True is probably the only non-roster guy the Note might be interested in.

a 60+ point player for a late 1st and a bottom 6 forward is terrible? no way.

He’s 32 and only has one more year if I remember correctly.Gregor is not the kind of guy you just trade for a rental. He’s going to be like Goodrow for us

he has 2 years. two years of a player who was on pace for 70 points, and only making 4M is 100% worth a late 1st + Gregor. Perfectly okay with parting with Gregor if its for this return.

2 years

This isn't just any kind of rental. A forward who could get close to a point per game making only 4 million for 2 seasons for a "Goodrow" type player and a late 1st is a great deal for us.
