Honest mistake. Thank you for pointing that out. I would sign and trade Max. Meet sign and keep or trade if decent offer came around. In my defence I was not focused on the RFA’s just putting together roster to move forward.

Preds pass. I don't see NSH having any interest in Weal. Poile has said he wants to inject youth into the roster -- why trade a young guy for a not-so-good older guy that doesn't move the needle at all? I don't see the argument for the Preds to consider that deal, so I think they pass.

If Weal is not acceptable then a draft pick. This guy played in the AHL and he’s a 4th line player.

If they want to trade him, then sure - a draft pick would be fine. Makes more sense than Weal. Seems like a natural Watson replacement in Nashville though.

I just like him because he can hit has size and he is a French Canadian which always goes over well. Mind you they had Deslauriers and they moved him to the Ducks.
