Hypothetically, if you were to keep Petry, would you go after Krug? your right side is strong but the left is lacking.

Need to look more than one year ahead.

Left side is set with Chariot playing big minutes on the first pair, Romanov making the team next year, Kulak doing the job for cheap, Mete still young and 3-4 high profile prospects.

Right side could come ugly pretty fast with Weber aging, Petry maybe hitting UFA market, Juulsen brain inguries, Fleury's limited potential and no prospects except Brooks that lack defensive skills.

Mete isn’t a prospect since he have been in the NHL for 3 years. Even if I dont like him, need to respect the fact he is a 6-7 Dman at 22 years old.
