That Manson Trade is very close to the rumour I heard in January.
Kapanen for Manson Kessler and a 5th.

No one has ever convincingly explained to me what possible use Kesler's contract would be to Toronto.

Manson for Kapanen is fine with me. Petan would be seventh on the depth chart for five positional slots, so no thanks.

It's just cause Anahiem might be one of the teams losing money in the next couple years with this whole COVID situation but the leafs can afford to pay whatever percentage of Kesler's contract that isn't covered by insurance and so Anahiem would be more inclined to trade away a potential 1st line RD
