Having this titled "cup contender" is not accurate. Nice moves, but this team would be marginally better that what they currently have, if at all.

MASSIVE overpayment for Laine, considering Caulfield is just as good

I mean, get real. Maybe wait until he plays an NHL game. Canfield went to college after his draft year, and Laine scored 36 goals in the NHL.

Suzuki is your first line center. Your second line center couldn’t crack double digit points last year. This isn’t a cup contender. Could possibly be the 5th best team in the division.

Oh and hall says no.

And we're missing key pieces of our future (Caufield, 2020 1st)

Do you own a DeLorean? I haven't scene caufield score 138 goals in 4 seasons. Took patches 7 seasons to top that. Your over valuing potential.

Your missing the point caufield didn't score 36 goals as an 18 year old. He hasn't played in the nhl, patches is just a reference of a recent habs goal scorer

No chance Winnipeg considers that deal. They won't accept quantity for quality. Montreal would be starting with Suzuki and adding or Kotkaniemi and adding.

WHY ARE WE GIVING UP A PLAYER WHO CAN BE A VERY SOLID FOURTH LINE PLUG IF SOMEONE GETS INJURED / SOLID AHL VETERAN FOR AN OVERPAID FOURTH LINE WINGER WHO SUCKS AND DOESNT EVEN PLAY WITH HIS SIZE WHO WILL NEED TO BE IN THE LINEUP DUE TO HIS DUMB CONTRACT
