Happens if none of Rossi or Lundell are available at 9.

I don't think either team should do this. Domi has more value than this, and the Wild need to get younger. I know Domi is young, but still we need young

I think, long-term, the Wild would regret the heck out of this deal. There is a very good chance they would be giving up the two best assets.
Now, back to Kotkaniemi...

I just figured that with your great depth on the wings, you could use one of those to upgrade your C line. Guerin seems to like Domi and Im sure MB and Timmins had an eye on Boldy during last years draft. Reuniting him and Caufield would be amazing imo.

I can see your point. I guess it depends on how Guerin values Domi versus Boldy.

Concerning KK, I know you like him but we LOVE him... Having Zuke, KK and Danault for years to come is just too good to be true and MB would be crazy to break that line of Cs. Dont worry, Youll get your elite C next year (Raty?!) or in two years (Wright, Lambert!!!!!!!). For now, Domi should do the trick😎

I think the organization is very high on Boldy (he scored something like 17 points in his final 10 games) and we need that quality player at 9. I'm also not entirely convinced Domi would stick at C here, just hearing Guerin on the radio/podcasts it seems like he really values guys that play well in both ends of the ice (he raved about Bergeron for a few minutes in a podcast when asked about what qualities he likes in centers) and Domi, at least from what I've seen, isn't great in his own zone and turns the puck over a lot due to poor decision making. He's very skilled, but those issues just leave me worried that he wouldn't be a great fit here.

I wish Domi did it for your favorite team...then you might consider trading the player I covet to Minnesota...

I'm not holding my breath. We've been waiting for a franchise center for 20 years, hell even a long term 1C for 20 years (I will always love Koivu but he's always been a 2C on a contender even in his prime). Only way it's happening is if we swing for the fences and try to land Byfield (basically 0% chance of that happening) or tanking hard to get Raty or Wright (which our owner won't allow)
