Did you even bother to look at the trade?

Well, if you actually looked at the trade, then you would notice that the Leafs acquired Georgiev to only drop a few spots in the first round.

Well if you actually look at the leafs roster, we have a goalie and we are not replacing him with a fringe starter

Rangers are missing about 3 million more in cap space that they need.

leafs fans are honestly the worst fans in sports. it makes their constant playoff failures all the more sweet.

We don't want more 1st's. We have our goal tandem set. We would do well to simply keep it and deal assets where we have extra.

I think we can all agree that Toronto fans are the worst people.

Yeah.. we have a goalie with 1 year left on his deal and will be testing the market next summer. Why would it hurt to bring in a young who has potential and will cost less?

because Georgiev is just a fringe starter? Why do this when you can trade Andersen and sign someone who has way more playoff experience and is way better

Georgiev is not just a fringe starter, but they do it because he is young and controllable. Wont cost much for 2 to 3 years.
