Description
A couple of ways to move in based off Kap trade.

Based off today's move and return I think Dubas is going to use kapanens exact cap hit to sign a player like demelo or Soucy for this acgm I'm just going to go with both because they are both exactly what we need.
Dermott gets a 1 year prove it deal

That being said I still think one of or both johnsson and kerfoot will be moved. Now I know the return on Kap was an overpay so keeping that in mind I have adjusted what I believe each johnsson and kerfoot are worth now with the market being partially set.

As for internal moves as much as I'd like sandin to get more minutes I don't think it materializes.

As for the fourth line I have no idea what direction they will look to go in but I feel like Shanahan's comments lead me to believe that they will be getting grittier or good defensive numbers with one year compete contracts

In the healthy scratch department I think it depends on what happens with AHL/ loan out players but I'd like to keep a center in and a D but cap is tight so I think Lehtonen is the safe bet.

Soucy's sample size is way too small for that term or AAV. And he's a lefty so doesn't help very much. Also, Dallas declines and Faksa will get more than 2.5

I haven't heard anything definitive about gudas being linked to the leafs, I think that's just some hopeful fans but I personally think gudas is to slow for how the game is progressing and would hold the defense back to much

take out both picks and add Weal , otherwise no interest for Habs to help Leafs dump salary

Lol, I haven't heard it but I believe you. As much as I like his style of play I still don't think he is someone we should target.

I think all of cap friendly know johnsson is worth three times that of weal but ok bud

Stars don’t add a pick. You want Faksa over Kerfoot for a reason. And it isn’t the cap savings cause Faksa’s next deal will be around what Kerfoot makes
