great point. on this site, everyone loves to bash bad trades. myself included. for example, if someone were to have posted Kapanen for 15OA + Hallender a few days ago, I would've said you are insane. GM's make bad trades all the time and tbh, even though theres a lot of bad trades on cap friendly, most of them, as bad as they are, still COULD potentially go through just because so many GM's suck

I mean before today I would have said teams generally don't give up the 4 most valuable assets in a trade, then JR just gave up the 3 most valuable pieces (imo) in a trade sooooo...

Fair point. But Botterill isnt the GM anymore. Plus it's just recency bias. And I try everyday to forget that atrocity of a trade, so thanks
