Holl played 20 minutes a game and was the Leafs best RHD this season. Oh, the love (in this case Trouba) for other teams RHD. 8m a year...wasteful.

He won't get a QO, he'll sign for less or hit the open market and I doubt anyone gives him 2 million or much more than 1 in this market.

Only reason Kapanen was the odd man out was because his contract has more value, being it ends with RFA instead of UFA like Johnsson and Kerfoot's.

Ok thanks. I mean even with Martin Jones and the atrocity that is his goaltending, we've made it past the Leafs in every playoffs since 2015-16 minus this year. At least if we don't make the playoffs for another 4-5 years, I'm comforted by the fact that the Leafs and Ranger will probably choke out of the first round every single one of those years. Anyway my point is we don't need Andersen. We can't afford him and we're not paying that much for him.
