It's not going to be Schwartz. If you want a big forward target on the Blues, it'd be Schenn.

Overpay by the bruins anyway (not by much though), maybe make it a 4th rounder that can become a 3rd if he hits x points or something

Love his game, i remember they were talking about a deal around him last year. Imagine how different everything wouldve been if that happened. Good on Armstrong for betting on his guys/Berube. It sucks the B's fell short, but it was a great series/story.

Perhaps you dont understand Urho's value, but your comment was pretty worthless.
Again, its not a bad idea at all! Schwartz would be a good solid 2nd line winger, but the price needs to be right

Yeah, I do. And any way you slice it this is two futures (only one of whom is actually a human at this time, and he plays a position where we're stacked to the rafters) plus a 4th liner who miiiight one day be a 3rd liner for one of the best play driving forwards in the game who smashes in the playoffs on a team aiming for more Cups now. This is a full-on larceny attempt, my friend.

That's not to say we wouldn't happily take Urho, but it's gonna need to be the start of a Schenn deal, and not a Schwizzle deal.

No Schwizzle for you!

Yes, correct, the trade idea in this AGM is definitely a no deal. Not a chance.

No, Schwartz is not even slightly available.

That's funny, I've heard that he would be a possible trade piece this summer if the Blues were unable to move Bozak, Steen or Allen. Search any Blues forums or media platforms, it's brought up pretty regularly. He's not getting any younger and with cap restrictions in the future and more productive players looking for contracts, it may be best to trade Schwartz during his prime. He's possibly one of our most streaky players, wouldn't be impossible to replace his production. Sell while we can. IMO.

In saying that @braisman aside from the blues trade, this ACGM is great! Good contracts, good lines, good Moore trade...

I was heart broken too. How can the Blues survive without his 15-20 goals a year, he will surely be a 40 goal scorer when he's in his 30's fo'sho'

If you really thought you had a great point, you would not have low bridged his offensive contributions (23 per 82 games for his career, and he scores at a higher rate in the playoffs, as seen on the way to the Cup). And obviously, reducing Schwartz to just a goal total ignores more than half of what makes him essential to the Blues. On top of all that, he's younger than Schenn, O'Reilly, Petro, Vladdy and Frenchy. Are we going to play pretend that they're now suddenly useless trash as well?

Hey, if you have some legit link to share to back your assertion that he can be had, pass it on over. Short of that, I call BS.

I dunno man, maybe try searching for yourself? Just because you don't believe it or it crushes your little dreams doesn't mean people aren't talking about it. Do your own research and get your head out of the clouds. I could find several other articles of people discussing this possibility because frankly, I don't care. Schwartz isn't as good as you think lmao, he's a borderline third line player. All of those players you mentioned may be older but they are in an entirely different skillset than 17. If you can trade 17 for assets, free up cap space and keep promising young talent then you do that every day of the week!

Legit source of information like you trolling these forums for your "facts"? lmfao. I could have presented any link and you'd find a reason to complain, it's all you do. Plain and simple facts, people are talking about the possibility of the Blues trading Schwartz. Whether it be on STLgametime, instagram, twitter, facebook, it doesn't matter the source, the FACTS are people are talking about it and where there's smoke, there's usually fire.

There was a rumor last year Schenn to the Bruins around the holidays. I believe Friedman had it... You mentioned him, all i was saying is that it had been kicked around apparently. And that if it happened it probably wouldve changed how the rest of the season unfolded, and I commended Armstrong for sticking with his guys rather than selling, it obviously worked out.

Before the bad news about 91 today, the Blues needed a scoring LWer and likely either a 1B or backup goalie (depending on what the experts think of Binnington). Scoring is our biggest need, and now that Tarasenko may be dunski, you can compound that.
