while domi, chiarot are a nice return, I don't think Philly has interest in BULK back and not interested in Tartar or Danault (which demeans their true value).

Couturier is a nice young and cheaply signed number 1 Center. I think philly would have no interest in moving him unless they're wow'ed which would contain some youngsters, like RD Juulsen or RD Fleury, Domi and maybe high picks.

I don't think PHI takes it but:

Couturier, NAK for Domi, Juulsen, MTL 1 and MTL 2 is closer....

Personally, what about JVR, NAK, PHI 1st, and a mid level prospect like big RW Strome, big C Bunnamon or RD Wyatt Wylie for Weber. He's still a beast but at almost 8mil for 6 more years at 35 yrs old, he carries a huge drawback?

Couturier is no leaving Philly unless it was crazy worth their while. Danault + Caufield + 2020 1st would probably be the rough asking price

JVR, NAK, Strome and a 1st for Weber? I actually am considering because of how good he was in our first round series. The length and amount gives me pause, but the move shouts “win now” for the next three years while the difference in salary between JVR and Weber is minimal.

Habs would say no to that trade. Even though couturier is a good player.

Yes, Couturier is a 65pt plus Selke first line center, hes worth far more than the initial offer, and like I said before, hes on such a reasonable contract, it would have to be a stellar offer to pry him out of Philly.

When you have a player like that, you do not want to move them.
