I wonder how the comments made by Danault affect his trade value.

You cannot keep a guy around like that,

but also teams will probably not want to take him for fair value because he sounds like a locker room cancer

Drouin and Susuki just led Habs with 7 points in 10 playoff games (vs Phil and Pitt.) And they have good chemistry.
Hard pass.

Only speaking because I know Phil personally. He is an incredible guy and rock solid in the dressing room. He has one year left on his contract and more points means more money. All players will say the same thing when your contract is coming up. I was briefly an agent for 3 yrs and would counsel my guys to say the same thing. This is contract talk, nothing else!

I know it is hard for you when you know him, but a classy thing would be to walk into Bergevins office and tell him "I am unhappy with my role in the playoffs and would like to be traded if those are your plans for me", but not to post **** on social media.

New Jersey says no

Are you retaining on Drouin for Zadorov?.......that's just dumb

Tampa will get a better offer for Cirelli

I think if Danault is traded it's to address another issue on the team, not prospects

Way too much for Danault, I like him but that's an overpay.

Please tell Phil he is the best 3C in the league and a Hab favourite. On a championship team, he's a 3C and there's nothing wrong with that.

COL passes on Drouin.
Not only is he expensive, but hurts MTL on BOTH ends of the ice (offence and defence)

Absolutely no chance Winnipeg gives up Heinola for a rental.

He did not post one word on social media. He is a very honest person. He was asked by a media person over the telephone would he be happy to have a reduced ice time next year and he answered no. which as a former athlete myself, experienced that, when a new coach was hire and my role was reduced. So, again, I completely understand Phil's position on this and let's not forget the Montreal media for hockey is insane and intense. This will die down in a few weeks.
