Toronto is only trading that for a defenseman or package that can make an impact. Basically a Muzzin type of Player. Murphy is okay but not worth the top 15.

Strome is a bit of a muppet who is inconsistent but sabres take that trade.

I know Leafs can use Saad, but do they need him?

Seems to just add to their issues of having too much $$ allocated to their fwds.

That's why we would have to retain at least half and why I didn't give a top prospect

they def need good two way players. Their forwards seem one dimensional. Do you think the leafs need better d or better team defense?

Hawks won't have money to sign him so, bowman has a record of gambling on prospects

Well M. Rielly's best D partner in the last 5 years has been R. Hainsey, so I would start there. They are pretty desperate for another Muzzin type they can throw over the boards when up by 1 with a min left in the game.

I like Saad, but Leafs can't afford another $6m fwd, no matter how much he'd improve overall team defence.
