That Arizona trade is straight up terrible. OEL is terrific no doubt but he is not a RD and would cost us too much.

Some guys can switch to RD, some (like Muzzin) can't. Muzzin pretty well shot the idea down when he got here, that's where Babs jab to Dubas in the media after the Muzzin trade came from.

Also why Rielly and Muzzin did not play together at all this past season.

Probably part of it. But the fact they never even take shifts together to hold a lead (Dermott pairs with Rielly frequently when Leafs are down) tells you neither guy is as strong on their off-side.
