MIL vs ORL NBA playoff game 5 postponed by the Bucks players boycotting in the locker room and refusing to play.

If this sweeps across the NBA playoffs, you think this movement could transition to the NHL playoffs and distrupt them? What is the likelihood?

I can’t believe this... wow. This would not happen in the NHL but still I’m shocked Milwaukee is doing this

Wouldnt be shocked if all remaining NBA teams follow suit.
Maybe put pressure on the NHLers to follow too

I would say probably not, nobody in the NHL has any balls and Dumba’s out of the playoffs so he can’t spearhead something. Not saying they shouldn’t make a powerful statement of some kind as they absolutely should use their platform to raise awareness, but this is unlikely in my opinion.

How is that progressive? They should stay out of politics completely

i think if NBA playoffs come to a halt, NHL would be under a ton of pressure to match that message

The last thing happened like 40 mins away from the Bucks home arena. Things are tense all around the MKE area right now.

Why is that laughable? Bucks were the best team in the league in the regular season, and have an MVP frontrunner. This is big news.

The NHL has done more than enough to appease the cancel culture twitter warriors that dont even watch the game.

i dont think this has anything to do with just the MIL area.
Other NBA teams will follow suit, may bring the NBA playoffs to a halt

Thats not cringe at all. The NHL is not a political party. Nothing going on affects the NHL. They dont need to be forced into perpetuating lies to gain internet clout for 1% of their fan base
