2020 and I think the habs should do it. Although a unprotected 2021 could enticing. Honestly if Buffalo wants to make a push for the playoffs then adding Danualt would be perfect. Perfect number 2 center that call play in all situations. I'd take the 2020 8OA but I would almost guess MB would get more elsewhere believe it or not. Givin his current cap hit, his age and position. But a extension would need to be part of the deal

I made the trade without extension and without protection seems like it would be pretty fair imo

WPG would give the 10th + Vesalainen
The 8th should be enough since there will be a better player at 8 than 10

Extension in place, there’s no way Danault is worth 8th OA without an extension
