Don't know the asking price but probably isn't crazy high. Hasn't lived up to his new contract exactly and TBL needs cap space.

Interesting, he would probably fit well there and I could see him waiving. Yeah price probably isn't that high but its still not negative. He's realistically a 50 point player when not on the 4th line. Has had a solid postseason so far at 3C. I would say a 3rd-ish

Agreed. He would definitely get a return, just saying it won't be really high end. Considering his down year and TBL needing cap space a 3rd makes sense, I'd even give up a 2nd if the Caps really like him.

Moving Gourde would be great for TBL's cap situation, but he has a NTC. Killorn's probably the guy they move after his NTC expires

I didn't even realize he had a NTC. Damn. But I imagine if he's told he'll be going into WSH top 6 he'd be happy to.

I think the team knows this is gonna be the last dance in a way. The farm team needs re-shelving too

Thats true if he’s tired of playing bottom 6 mins behind better cheaper wingers. Is McMichael ready to step into a middle 6 role? Had a great junior year

I think he is but if they choice is to come in here and play 3rd line winger with no PP time or go back to the OHL to be a top center with top minutes I'd much rather him go back to the OHL. No need to force him into the lineup now and miss out on some development.
