starting new GM GAME read description

Description
The way this game operates is having 31 people like you and me, pretending to be fake GMs of each franchise. You'd get to act as if you were in charge of a team. You would negotiate deals with our GMs, make trades, and everything else that happens in real life, that an actual GM would do. There would also be free agency, the draft, expansion, and more during the offseason; in additions to the power rankings released every month.

Interesting. But I do not think that cap friendly will be a good enough plaform for this, maybe make a discord server or group chat of some kind

I love this idea except for one thing. Making a real armchair of any sort like that takes a ton of work and research. Checking stats, looking up articles and being your own scout while figuring out what other teams needs are. That's without having to negotiate. I love the idea but that's a hard sell for me. That's not a no but I'm a Leafs fan so trying to armchair a team I don't know is off the table. I'll do it if I can have the Leafs but it looks like it's taken lol.

from what I am understanding, its basically like a sim league, but without the sim engine

Well yeah but you still need to know who you're looking at, what the other team's needs are not just what they say they are so you can wiggle, Just creating them on here I actually look at news articles on the other team, see if the two teams have been reported as discussing players so you know your on the right track etc. It's more for me to try and guess what Dubas is working on and have an idea what's going to come out. It's fun trying to guess what's up.

we would create a discord that will conduct interviews and reports to simulate the realest expierence for people participating. you will also negotiate yourself with the other GM's
