Description

STL-TOR trade is about 37k away from cap neutral. To me, it's a lot more realistic than the rumors going around about Johnsson and Liljegren.

Left the cap open for Tarasenko's potential return... I don't want to act like I know how LTIR and daily cap accrual works but I think this would be enough to bank some space for when he returns?

Toronto's interest is really in Parayko so I don't think this mucks up your trade. BUT Ottawa requests Sanford and BOZAK (instead of Steen) in return for Ottawa's 2020 4th round pick.

You don't accrue cap space if you use LTIR to remain cap compliant. So this team would need to make in-season moves (trades, sending players down, etc) to clear enough space for Tarasenko's return.
