more or less realistic

Description
Trades:
LAK: Murray and Johnson should even themself out and a 2nd and Björkqvist for Kempe is fair from my point of view. Murray is not staying in Pittsburgh, but JJ is liked in PIT, idk why but he is... Kempe shold be a solid 3rd liner on a solid deal.
BUF: They could need some center depth and Bjugstad is not a bad player, he just couldnt figure it out in PIT. hes deal is very big, so i dont think the pens get back a lot. From my standpoint a solid deal for both teams.
STL: the blues are in a big capcrunch and they cant resign dunn if they do sign pietro, which should be their main target. I really like dunn and if he signs a bridge deal the pens should go for him. McCann was not bad, but i think they shouldnt hold on to him since he was very streaky. And how we know JR, he loves to trade prospects even do he didnt got many of them so the blues get a solid, might even NHL-ready dman in POJ. also a 4th and this deal should be done.
DAL: Dallas had a not really good offense and Simon is a good playmaker who could be really helpful. Also het should be cheap in terms of aav and they dont need to throw away more than a 3rd rounder.
TBL: Cirelli would be a perfect 3rd center who could even play 2nd line if they want to make a crosby malkin line. Its not really realistic that TBL gives cirelli away, but if they do they get a 1st, 3rd and a solid prospect in Legare.

Buyout: As much as i love hornqvist as a player and even more as a person its time to let him go (even do im not sure if the pens can buy him out cause of his NTC). With the flat cap i dont think anyone will take on his contract, but we need these 5.3 mil otherwise.

Signings of Dunn and Cirelli: If Dunn doesnt take a Bridge deal we should not trade for him, but if he does 4mil is a fair deal. In these 2 Years he can get his game to the next level with playing on the second pair with marino and getting 2pp and pk time. My hope in Cirelli is that he takes a 7 year deal with a little less money.

With these Trades the Pens lost all their Draftpicks and Prospects as usuall, but the team is younger and got better. In the Lineup i think if Poulin is playing he should get some top6 icetime with either malkin or sid. Also the GUentzel Geno Rust line played phenominal in the last season, so i would put them togheter again. This lefts Crosby with Zucker and Poulin/Cirelli. The third line with Kempe Cirelli Kapanen is a great line with Cirelli being the one who carries the Line. The fourth line doesnt need a explanation, they played great for the most part of the season. On defense Letang Dumo will be a safe bet. The second pair could be one of the most surprising this season with two young players who are ready to breakout as two of the best defensive defenders in the league and getting their offense going some more. The third could not be worse than Schultz and Johnson, so nothing wrong with that. Riikola i personally like very much with his offense abilitys and Pettersson is a solid two way dman.

Goalie wise JArry gets the chance to play as a real starter with de Smith backing him up. De Smith was rly solid when he played in the nhl so this should not be a problem.

If you think anything is not good let me know in the comments with what you would do better :)

Blues decline. There is no reason to think they can’t resign Dunn. You also have to think if they don’t sign Dunn they have to go out and get another LHD and they won’t get one of his caliber especially for his price tag. If they were to move Dunn I’d like to see it for an offensive upgrade.

Nothing realistic about trying to fleece Dunn away with spare parts and futures.

Dunn might sign an offer sheet at $4.5 AAV. That's about $1-1.5 more than the Blues would want to pay probably and especially if we DO re-sign Petro we'd be crunched. Depending on how long of a contract it is though (you have him at 2 years, I think he would want longer if he signed an offer sheet) you likely don't have the compensation to send the Blues way even if he were to sign it.

edit: No, the Pens can't offer the compensation for anywhere over $4.227 and the lid, which is likely where the Dunn contract would fall.

The MAX offer sheet the Pens could offer would be $4.227 AAV for a 5 year deal. Maybe that'd get it done.

Dunn has no leverage because he has no arbitration rights.

The Blues might trade him if they think Perunovich can fill his slot. I expected Dunn to have a bigger role this season after winning the Cup but it wasn't the case. He still struggles on the D side some but he has offensive skill. If the Pens really wanted him I would have rather had their 1st round pick from this year @ 15th overall

Buffalo doesn’t want Bjugstad to begin with, and you’re not getting more than a 7th with no retention.

I think other teams could beat the package in this ACGM but Marino? Absolutely no shot. Tampa fans are going to be disappointed this summer, every GM in the league knows they have to move cap

Every GM knows they have to move cap. So Johnson, Killer, Palat go for less than market value. They're not gonna sell Cirelli for pennies on the dollar.

Don't those players outside of Killorn have NTC? Pretty sure Johnson has a full NTC, why is he doing Tampa a favor and waiving to pay more taxes? Pretty expensive favor.... Cirelli is also a prime offer sheet candidate for a team like Buffalo, which would put his value in the 1st + 3rd range. That's about what you can expect back in a trade
