STL wont trade Allen unless Binnington becomes mgic again, more resonable trade would pobanbly be for 1 of Hutchinson, Comrie/Broissoit,

Zero chance the Blues go for that silliness. And with Vladdy out for several months, their cap crunch has temporarily eased a significant amount.

We can only retain three salaries, and also if we traded Zub before he even played for us no free agent would ever want to sign with us again.

Did not know the 3 retained salary rule. Thx.

Disagree that Zub would not welcome the chance to play in TBL with Kucherov, Sergachev and Vasilevskiy. Obviously would require a discussion with his agent before going ahead.

Trading a $4.35 million back-up goaltender to help pay Pietrangelo and Dunn is silly? A shoulder injury is not the answer to St L's cap squeeze. Surely the solution begins with trading Allen and Bozak.

I'm fully on board with dealing Allen, I'm saying the idea that we'd trade him to take back crap Nilsson for only a couple million in cap savings is silly. We'll trade Allen for a draft pick, thanks.

How about the 2020 2nd round pick (Dallas) for Allen?

I would offer the 3rd round pick for MacEwen in lieu of an OS. If the Canucks declined, I would first make the same offer to VGK for RW Keegan Kolesar before making an actual OS.

We have fairly similar Armchairs. The way I see the STL goalie/Pietrangelo situation is that they're in a bit of a tough spot with no leverage. With the FA goalies available, stagnant upper limit, I expect more value will be placed on cap space so I'd suspect STL will have to pay to get rid of Allen.

Deal. We'll even throw in a muffin basket. A nice one, with blueberry and banana and cinnamon apple to choose from.
