A team with cap problems are not going to take a brutal 8 million dollar contract for a 1 million dollar contract.

The Oil have no really good Off-D, Burns is one of the best and his contract is cheap compared to what the Off-D UFAs will be asking for this year. Plus, he's a physical monster of a human who never succumbs to injury and will probably still be playing top-4 minutes at 40yo. He's muy bueno

Whattup, yo! How f**kin stacked is this team?!

The Bear trade is dope, but whatever... I'd also take their 2020 1st and Neal, then sign DeMelo for around the same salary as Option B.

Dropping Neal and not having to sign Bear effectively leaves them with the same amount of space they started with, except now they'd have Burns, their Off-D behemoth ready to rock.

Or we can just buy out Neal and only pay 2 million and Bear 1.5 million.....That equals 3-4 million and not 8

I guess, but that's boring.

As I stated in the comments above, the Option B of Neal and the 2020 1st would also suffice. Really would've liked to see Mario play with Bear.
