i wouldn't take on Quicks contract for free let alone give players prospects and a 1st. His lat two years he has a sub.900 save percentage?

I’d rather take my chances letting him develop and possibly become a top line player then give him up for a middle sizer. I’d rather just give a third for Johnsson. We don’t need campbell and don’t want to give up Foote.

No one said you can get Johnsson for a 3rd. This is just not going to happen

Leaf fans have had proposals as Johnson for a third everywhere. Besides he could be worth a first and a top prospect for all I care. He is only worth what a team is willing to give up. And he is worth a third to me. Someone Overpayed for Kapanen. Someone might for him.

Well, I think he is worth a mid second. He will not get what Kapanen got, but he is a better player than Kapanen

The team he was playing behind wasn't great either and he has proven he can win playoff time. Let them platoon.
