Masterpiece of a trade in that it's absolutely awful for both sides. Isles don't need extra cap, Wild aren't giving up a 25+ goal scorer and paying the Isles a 1st round pick to take him.

Sharks and Sabres fans have already weighed in, but no chance Tampa takes that. If they trade Cirelli, it's because they couldn't find cap space to sign him and taking in a $6m contract only makes that problem worse.

I'd have to see how the draft plays out...if the Sabres draft a center it makes Mittelstadt expendable but I think they wait one more year to see how he develops. If he comes into camp a weak doughboy I would trade his a$$ asap.
