Description

I go back and forth on whether or not the Hawks should keep Dylan Strome this offseason but on this day, at this hour, I do not believe they should move him. Dach-Strome-Toews down the middle in a couple years is going to be elite and teams with good depth at center typically go far. Someone also said in the comments recently in regards to Strome "50 point centers don't grow on trees" which for some reason is what I needed to see the extent of his value to the Blackhawks. I'm not saying I wouldn't move him for the right offer, but I am saying that I don't think this is the year we should be shopping him.

With all of that said, you guys think this is fair? Didn't touch the rest of the lineup, I want for this trade to be the center of any feedback this post gets.

A week ago I’d say no chance, but now i could see it tbh. First round picks have really lost their value this past season

I'd wait until the draft and if a guy like Lundell or Quinn is still on the board, pull the trigger then.

Hawks should keep Strome imo but this isn't a bad deal and Florida needs a 2C, good idea at the very least!

It's weird too because of how good the draft supposedly is, but teams are handing them out like candy so maybe some guys they aren't as high on

In terms of trades? It sure seems like it.

But they should have a premium attached to them with the salary cap getting frozen for 2 years...
Take Anton Lundell. He’s basically a lock to be a 3C at worst by his D+2 year on an ELC. That has massive value
