Description
okay so here is my thought process for all the trades

MIN - Jones would probably play better there because they actually play defence and they can use Gambrell on the nhl roster. I think Zuccarello would fit with San Jose pretty well and we get a former Shark and capable backup in Stalock

CAR - If Carolina is looking to make a change in goaltending San Jose should swoop in and pick up whoever they are getting rid of. According to Kurz it should only cost a mid round pick but that seemed low

TOR - I really like the idea of Johnnson to the sharks. I saw a couple of Leafs agm trading for Sorrenson.

DAL - Swap 2 guys that their teams have given up on and give them a second shot. And the Sharks get a cheap 3rd pairing D out of it.

Alternatively if the Dallas trade doesn't work then just sign Heed for another year

I think you're on the right track with the Minnesota deal, and the value is pretty good. But I don't think Minnesota is gonna wanna spend that much money on 2 goalies between Jones and Dubnyk. So that would be contingent on moving Dubnyk.

Reimer's likely to cost more than that. He has ballooned stats because of Carolina's defence, but the Canes will use his decent numbers to get a better return. Canes pass on that deal.

Leafs deal has the value, but I don't see Toronto taking on a NHL player for Johnsson due to their cap. Likely to be a lesser prospect.

As for the Dallas deal, take out the pick and just do it straight up. Both guys need a change, seems fair both ways without the pick.

All in all, pretty good work though

Thanks for the feedback!

I could definitely see Min moving Dubnyk but I think they only do it if in this case Jones proves to be a starter there

I really don't know how to value Reimer to be honest. and I don't really know how much more the sharks could offer. and it really depends on how much Carolina wants to clear that space

As for the leafs deal, you think I could swap in True instead to get that done?

I wasn't sure how much Dallas valued Honka so I just through in a pick just in case

Seems decent enough to me, I would be a happier Sharks fan anyways.

I would hope we can sign Patty @ 750k and then use that extra 250k plus the 390k left over to get a better 3C than Jumbo as I don't think he will be back with Sharks for next season right now. Purely a gut feeling on my part.

Who knows maybe Handemark will look good enough in camp to play 3/4C

I think Canes do that pretty quickly to be honest.
