Definite no from Winnipeg. Domi isn't worth 2 firsts especially when one is 10OA.

It's basically 10th for 14th with the difference being made up by Domi and Vesalainen. Idea is that Ves is worth between 20-25 OVA and Domi between 15-20

Thought of that too but it's a trade off I'd be willing to make

Yeah I don’t think vegas makes that trade, also Reaves doesn’t take a lot of penalties, most of his PIM are for fights

I disagree. Jets only move down 4 slots and then have Domi over Vesalainen? In a deep draft like this, Jets accept in a heartbeat.

Kassian was thrown out of Mtl for Drugs and other off-ice issues. He betrayed Bergy's trust when that happened and never played again. He'll never come back.
He and Reaves are not the players Mtl needs right now. Remember when they got Ott? NO!

I forgot about the whole Kassian thing lol. Guess it will just be Tatar for Chaison and 1st. Reeves I would keep in the trade though cause he brings the element that we desperately need to protect Suzuki and KK from the kinds of hits that caused KK to miss most of the season. No one else on the team keeps other teams in line.

If it’s 14OA for a guy without an extension then no thanks. I’m not trading that much for a guy that may just walk to free agency.

I feel like there has been a lot of back and forth about leddy to MTL. Would they want him or not?

Domi isn't worth that much. Maybe a deal around Vesalainen and a lower pick or prospect, but 10OA will not be involved in a Domi deal with Winnipeg.

No chance. Domi is nowhere near as valuable as 10OA. Domi is an RFA looking for a large raise and can force his way to UFA in 2 years. Winnipeg wouldn't consider it.

For me it is he is a fill in until Romanov and Norlinder are ready for the top 4

Again the deal is

10th for 14th

Domi for Vesalianen

And the difference between 10th and 14th is made up by Winnipeg not having to make up the difference between Domi and Vesalainen

haha, I hear ya man. I don't mind the deal all that much from a WPG side. The only issue I would have is if someone the jets really want is surprisingly available at 10 and they miss out on him. Im also concerned a little about the fit for Domi between Laine and Ehlers or whatever combination works

Again. No interest in involving 10OA, or any future first round pick, in a deal for Domi at all. Winnipeg would much rather keep 10OA, so you need to come up with a deal that doesn't involve a first round pick from Winnipeg.

That I understand but the deal could happen at the draft as well to aliviate this concern.

Interesting deal for oilers. Since kassian and habs have a checkered past probably wouldn’t be included. I’d pull the trigger on Chiasson +1st for Tatar at the draft depending on how some selections play out.

Yeah, Domi's fit is my main concern with him. The Jets need a 2C that is good defensively and Domi isn't. Plus he'll be looking for a good raise, probably more money than Ehlers and can force his way to UFA in two years.

I'd consider Domi, but only with a reasonable long term contract and if he came at a fair price.

I agree, but I don't think they would need to give up their 1st.
Tatar is the best player for sure and Armia is probably the 2nd best, but MTL could really use a guy like Kassian (again) and Chiasson is a sh*t disturber that can bury the puck.
maybe change the 1st to a second or 3rd?

But Domi AND 14OA for 10OA and a current AHL player?

Right. I'd rather keep 10OA and go after Domi with other pieces if the Jets want him. There should be no need to get 10OA involved.
