Hughes has been taking pounding on D and has cost the team goals, but is still a very highly skilled player. Hoping he takes less pounding on the wing, for sure his minutes will be reduced. Next year he should be stronger and be better able to withstand the pounding. Just look at Stetcher's improved physical play.
Roussel's agitating has not been a positive factor for the team, so let him sit. I like Sutter and Gaudette but they can't stand up to Reaves, Tuch or Pacioretty. Perhaps Bailey (6'4" and 214) and Graovac (6'5" and 208) can. And Shotgun Jake (6'1" and 226) ,who should be standing up for Hughes, is nearly invisible on the physical aspect of the game. I just wish he played as hard as Motte.

BAHAHAH you're kidding right?

Hughes is staying on defense for his career and will be a Norris candidate for the next decade. What is this...
