Description
You guys weren't feeling what I did before, so I made some changes, hopefully this version is better

Leafs sign Perry, an intimidating veteran player who can stick up for his team, something this team desperately needs. We also resign Clifford and Spezza for the same reason.

It was reported that Carolina was interested in Andersen, so that's why I believe this trade could work

Rangers need a left handed defenseman, and need to get rid of one of their goalies, so we give them dermott and we get georgiev. Engvall is added in the deal to sweeten the touch.

Matt Roy is probably the most underrated defenseman in the NHL. He's amazing defensively, and is on a ELC, which saves us a lot of cap. Kings need offense, so we give them Johnsson.

Trade Kerfoot, Rodrigues, and a 1st for Parayko and Sundqvist. Sundqvist is cheaper than Kerfoot and can replace his role, and we get that right handed defenseman we always wanted. Kerfoot can be used to replace aging veterans on the Blues such as Bozak and Steen. Rodrigues can be a nice depth forward for the Blues.

If your analysis of Roy is correct, Kings don't the deal. Wings are rebuilding, aren't giving up futures for a year of Andersen Way too much to give up for the iffy Georgiev.

Rangers accept for sure, I like that trade for both sides. Going to need to give St. Louis more for Parayko though.

Id say that is a more realistic canes trade. Not really a fan of the canes picking up anderson but the value is closer to fair

Kings decline. Short of Hyman or Mikheyev, both of which the Leafs wouldn't/shouldn't do, there's not much on the Leafs that the Kings would want in exchange for Roy.

Engvall I agree doesn't do much for us. But I've been watching Dermott since his Erie Otters days, I think he can be a middle pairing LD in the NHL. Not to mention getting a second round pick out of the deal as well.

Blues fans overhype Parayko like he's the next Bobby Orr. The leafs are giving the blues a 1st rounder and a 4th rounder, a 3rd line centre who is a great penalty killer and is good for 30-40 points, a 4th liner who can provide depth, and a promising defenseman prospect. Imo we're giving more than enough for a defenseman you don't really need since you guys are trying to sign pietrangelo. You guys get more cap space too, I don't see how this is not enough for you guys.

You don't see how a decent 3rd liner, a 4th liner they have no use for, futures and a couple million in cap space is good enough for a vital, hugely popular player on a team that has no desire whatsoever to move him and is trying to win more Cups now plus Sundqvist, who's quite arguably better right now than any player you sent over? Seriously? I'm not sure what you're missing.
