Hornqvist would play wonderfully for Torts but no way he waives to go to columbus and no way our teams make a deal with eachother

I was curious.
I clicked & re-read...I thought is said "the chumps"

CBJ will be looking for a much more viable scoring winger than Hornqvist.
If the Jackets are going to spend in free agency, they might as well try and land a Hall, Dadanov, or Hoffman over Hornqvist.

One year contract with a player who can fill in anywhere down the lineup. He's a good player and traded to a team that can afford his cap hit for one year and use him.

You're right, why'd they need a goalie who won back to back cups. Think!

Why give up assets to get a goalie that’s likely to command more than he’s earned from his more recent history. Ufa market destroys Murray’s value too many better options for less money and no assets lost.

The UFA market has goalies 28 and older. Not an age where you want to build your franchise around. Know you're talking about Lehner, he's about to turn 29 years old. Would you rather sign him for 4-5 years until he's 33/34 or a goalie whos 4 years younger and has already won 2 cups and knows how to win?

Greiss on a two year deal to be a 1B behind kosk who we are already tied to for 2 more years.

You do realize Greiss is 34. Why would they want to old goalies when they can trade for a 26 year old that has dominated the playoffs and is in a rough patch. Trade for him for cheap Then sign him long term and lock up a goalie.

34 is younger than 38 Year old replacing the term doesn’t make age a concern. No point in looking for long term replacement while paying kosk 4.5. Oilers don’t have cap space to be investing heavily into two goalies.
