This is exactly the type of trade the jets need. I should of mentioned Jets sign Danault for 5 years at 5million per.

I would probably decline this if I am MTL. It is not that far off, but not enough for MTL to let go Danault.

What would it take to complete the deal?

Perhaps replace the three picks (2nd, 4th and 4th round) by a 3rd rd pick. Or maybe replacing Niku by another prospect, like Vesalainen or Heinola, and you've got something to really consider here for MTL.
Probably too much for WPG fans to give, but I can tell Danault his high value for Montreal. This guy do a lot of stuff.

Totally understand that from a WPG perspective. Reason why I think it would need an overwhelming offer to MTL to let Danault leave, therefore unlikely to happen.

I think you might be to invested in this player My original offer was very fair.
