Mantha is an elite prospect and Nyquist is first line winger on any team.

I hope Murray is an addict if he doesn't do that. I'd rather keep Stone and the 1st.

Nyquist isn't even a 1st liner on THE WINGS! Mantha is good but elite he is not. Whatever, my troll sense is tingling and I have a feeling your gonna respond with a "I was born in 1998" type response.

Prove me wrong Venutowings98. Prove me wrong.

Mantha is a former CHL player of the year and had 120 points in the Q. As for Nyquist, he was top 5 in scoring during a 8 month period is 2015.

Mantha is no elite prospect. if he was he would have been called up by now. And Nyqvist had one good half of a season to be labelled as a top line guy. Since then he is simply putting up numbers as a #2-3 line guy

Mantha hasnt been called up bevause detroit is smart and takes their time with prospects. And nyquist goalscoring may have dropped but his playmaking and corsie have improved significantly

Yup just as they did with Larkin right........oh wait......"but he's elite!" Oh really? I thought Mantha was also?

Listen Mantha is a very decent prospect still but there is nothing you can say that can give him the "elite" status yet. Elite prospects make their clubs as 18-19 year olds. Mantha is 22 and has had documented struggles playing in the AHL. Your not fooling anyone.

You know who else scored 50G+ and 120+pts in the QJMHL? Yanick Riendeau! .........Who????? Exactly my point.

Nyquist is a decent player also but there's a reason he and Tatar are in nearly every Detroit fans AGM trades.... If they were as good as you claim they would be, Detroit would be keeping them, not trading them. Stone in his rookie season scored more then both Nyquist (in is best season) and Mantha did at the NHL level this year, combined. Then, Ottawa has to give you a 1st rounder on top of that?

As Matt Martin once said to Drew Miller "Go dye your hair".

Ottawa wouldn't make that trade. Sure that Ottawa would gladly trade Ryan and retain salary for one of Nyqvist or Mantha.

Lmaaooo, stone and a first would be good enough to get any good player in the league. Stone is the best two way forward in the NHL. Although not fast, he leads the league in takeaways by A HUGE margin and he has a terrific shot, and is another 60+ point guy. What stone alone would get is Larkin and Mantha
