I guess you could say this is a challenge. Probably more for myself than anyone else but feel free to take part. What I am going to do is get rid of players on each of the 31 teams who will most likely not be protected during the expansion draft. Once I've done that I will call up players in the minors or sign players likely to join the teams. I'm allowing myself 1 free agent signing of a player not on the team already and won't allow myself to choose that same player for the other 30 teams. Anyone who is a free agent from the team will also be resigned unless they won't be protected in the expansion draft with one exception from each team. Once I finish this challenge with all 31 teams I would do a quick reflection to see how these teams look. As for 30 of the teams players will be sent to Vegas, but when I eventually do Vegas I will send the players on there to Anaheim.

Free Agent: Trevor Van Riemsdyk, a bit of an odd signing, but Anaheim's hopes shouldn't be too big this season. They could sign him to a 1 year deal and see he he meshes with the team and if he performs well and gets along well with the other players then they keep him. If the signing is a bust they won't need to protect his contract (because his contract would end).
