Miller has more upside than Chychrun. I don't see the org trading Miller unless they're given an offer they can't refuse.

Richards? I looked him up after a ducks fan asked for him in a trade, he was basically the patrice bergeron of college hockey

I wanna see him grow into our guy on his own. I don't think that even Hedman inspires me to move Miller.

Oh lol chychrun is really good, hes extremely poised and rarely makes mistakes, hes an absolute unit, blocks shots and is mobile, plays all situations, eats minutes, can partner well with an offensive guy like trouba, and best of all is on an amazing deal, honestly have no idea how he wasn't a lottery pick he was the best Dman in his class at the time and is still one of the best

Thats insanity, how would the best Dman in the world not peak your interest?

That he's pushing on 30, will decline in the not so distant future, and has trouble playing a full season. I'm not in such a hurry to contend that I wouldn't give Miller a fair shot after trading to move up to get him.

hes played 70 games in 4 of the last 5 years and this year played 66, hes one of the most cerebral Dmen in the game so his decline will be incredibly slow, think chara, if hes on the table I throw everything I can at the bolts

Miller has more upside than Chychrun Lmao Chychrun is an already established top 4 defensemen in the league that is already starting to turn elite and he's only 22 that was already on pace to score 15 goals

I wouldn't include Miller. There's a lot I wouldn't include in a trade for a high cost 30yo D man when we're still a few years out from really contending.

A norris winner under 8 is a bargain, and he makes us an instant contender

He's impressive when he's not on LTIR. Not a bad word to say about him aside from that. But I still think Miller is regarded as a player who is poised to develop into a potential top pair guy.

How far does McDavid move the needle in Edmonton? Not saying Hedman isn't good. Just that one player can only do so much in a sport like hockey.

Even if you add OEL to that trade, Miller still has the most value in that trade. ADA for chychrun one for one is close to being fair
