Minnisota isn't taking the scrap pile for Brodin.

You know Josh Anderson was on pace for 12 points this season right?

I wouldn't even trade Andreas Johnsson for him...

So was Johnsson...

Anderson was playing on the 4th line in Columbus before he got injured. Sure he has bounce back potential but even if he does DeBrusk is still better even if he does bounce back...

I dont think Andersson is a better goal scorer, but If you get Hall you have to lose DeBrusk & Bringing in a Player Like Andersson to play the "power forward" role for Krejci & Hall was the reasoning behind it. I also couldn't add picks in my deals cause my phone wouldn't let me

Why are we bringing back nordy at 1.2 just to sit on the bench. He is not coming back we have cheaper younger options in house.

And had 47 the year before. Can't judge a guy's ability from 2 games he played with a screwed up shoulder. I'd probably make the deal as a Columbus fan just cause of the uncertainty with the injury (which is a big factor), but if he's back 100% Anderson is definitely the better player. Similar point totals, but Anderson has a much better all around game and is a terrific penalty killer.

Why are we giving up the better player in the Anderson deal?

A bunch of small pieces (none of which play centre) doesn't get you Brodin

Anderson was battling a nagging shoulder injury that he never recovered from. Finally decided to get surgery. If fully healthy he would’ve scored 20+ goals easily. Jackets wouldn’t trade him for Johnsson either
