Description
This is a 'Markstrom leaves' scenario. Sign a guy who is capable of support and 1A play in Greiss; sign a reliable middle-six guy with some scoring potential and decent metrics in Haula; see if Dallas is willing to take back Roussel (a guy they are familiar with and liked) with some retained salary at no transaction cost; bring back the main two positional UFA's. Not overly-complicated

A 2nd for a player that has never scored 20g or 40p in a single season seems a bit steep.

We aren’t in a rush to send out NAK (a rookie) for a 3rd.

I know it's just a minor trade but I don't see the Flyers trading NAK for a 3rd. He is a cheap, young, bottom 6 forward that finally cracked the lineup as a former 2nd round pick. He looked pretty good with limited playing time during the season and would be more valuable to the team then a 2nd or 3rd round pick at this point.

Fair enough. I like him and obviously see him as a cheap, young piece from a team that will (also) likely be under a cap crunch. Could understand why Philly wouldn't be in a rush to deal him. A player of his ilk could be subbed in that spot

To be fair, there is minimal difference in pick situation there, so Vancouver would probably do that.
