Description
Tampa cant afford a Cirelli contract so the trade would make sense. Georgiev is worth two high picks or high end prospect.

I wouldn't hate a Rasmussen-Georgiev swap. Would Detroit?

If NYR could sign Cirelli for 2 years $4.2M AAV, I really wouldn’t see TB shedding that to save $1M just for 1 season.

I agree I wouldn't trade Rasmussen or the 2nd for Georgiev in a 1 for 1 deal.

well you're getting a 3rd back, so it's not like you're losing the pick just moving down a few spots.

Fact that Georgiev can't keep his GAA under 3.0 so far kind of scares me. But if he's truely our starter of the future, giving up Ras would be worth it in my mind.

But the fact NYR is kinda of backed into a 3 headed Goalie monster I would hope Steve could talk them down from a 2nd rounder.

As a Wings fan, I like it.

If I were a NYR fan, I'd be screaming for them to Keep both the young Gs and buy out, or trade Hank..... that is what would be best for their organization. Giving up on a young G just to make a NYR legend happy for one year doesn't seem like good asset management.

If Broduer can move on and play one last year somewhere else, so can Hank.

From what I heard NY is gunna offer sheet him so at that point youre gunna potentially lose him for nothing. With all that congestion down the middle I really think they try to send Cirelli off. I was hearing for the 24th overall pick but what would the other parts be? I think NYR is going to really push for him

Is Jeff Gorton willing to put it out there and ruin his reputation as a GM? I feel like it’s an unwritten rule that you don’t offer sheet, and if you do, other GMs will basically lose respect for you and not be willing to trade with you.

That's what Rangers fans want. People still think we'll throw Georgiev away...

Rangers add in kakko and lafreniere to the wings deal since you decided to make us overpay, I'll counter with the same

Love these moves for the Rangers, but doubt any happen. Value doesn't match up for the Cirelli trade, and with that low of a contract Tampa could afford to keep him especially with no state tax if they move a few other pieces. That trade only frees up like 1 mil for the Lightning so it wouldn't make much sense even if the trade was fair. Georgiev shouldn't bring back that kind of return of a pretty good prospect and a pick upgrade, although it would be nice. The Chychrun trade is quite far off, he's one of Arizona's most valuable pieces on a great contract and would most likely only be moved for futures, potentially something like Kravtsov+.

Love that you actually nailed Buch's value. Really nice job there. And glad you identified Deangelo > Chychrun. Nice job there as well. If you drop the 3rd, the Georgiev deal is a bit closer, but don't think Rasmussen really fits the team's playstyle all that well.

Overall, a lot better than most of the junk on here. Really nice job bud.
