If you acquire that pick, trade it or trade your #10 overall for a more viable option at 2C

Oilers pass. No realistic trade right now for jp. Holland spent a lot of time putting out a fire and made great progress with him and agent. Seems zero chance he’s going to move until holland gets to see what he invested soo much time into.

I think this season with the cap freeze, over half the teams are out of the market for a UFA. I'm optimistic that guys like Granlund and Haula won't have much opportunity to sign a long-term career deal and the Jets, who will have some cap space, thanks to Buff and Little, can go out and grab some value contracts. If the UFA market heats up, then the Jets would need to make a deal involving one of their two top 10 picks. Holtz would likely be a roster player by 2021-22 but Sanderson is committed to UND and might not be a factor for a few years.

That would be of interest. Severson is closer to the Jet's age wheelhouse than Subban. Everyone on Jersey had a down season this year and I think Severson is still a solid player.

You would miss Jesper right up until until you saw Hughes and Hirshier feeding Laine sauce passes on the PP.

Jets should have ZERO Interest in Subban in any kind of trade.

Hello, old friend! As it stands, I don't think the Laine trade is palatable for either team; I feel there are long-term benefits to holding onto Laine, and a rebuilding NJD would probably be hesitant to move Bratt or #7.

Does Perreault really have negative value? You could probably get a pick for him, especially if you retain 50%. He can still drive possession and could slot on the 2nd line in a pinch.

A change of scenery would benefit those prospects, but the potential reward is much higher for EDM. A one-for-one would be a better choice, imo.

With all of that in mind, you do know more about WPG than me, so I could be totally wrong.

Hey Kayla! I would hate to see the Jets move Laine but everyone and their dog has been creating Laine trades. I thought I would jump in. Puljujarvi still has the most upside of the three prospects and I can't see Niku passing both Heinola and Samberg on the LHD depth chart. Drafting Sanderson would make him even more expendable. Oilers fans still covet 4OA value for Puljujarvi.

He's definitely a solid player, and a Mellville native, so I think he'd be ecstatic to be within driving distance of his hometown. Devils had a rough go of it this year but I think individually there are some good talents on the team that can be had for the right price.

I posted another team with your Devils' trade.
