The Burns deal and the Couture deal would never happen. You are heavily overvaluing both of those players.

Edmonton says No immediately without thinking about it. Although Couture is a player i like he is 31 and has 7 years left on a deal paying 8MM. We dont need another one of those contracts especially for that package.

It’s also horrible value in return for the Sharks. Two salary dumps and a late 1st for a top line winger in his prime. I wouldn’t take Steen and Bozak plus 1st for free. Nonetheless give up Kane in return.

Blues could be interested in Labanc with Tarasenko out. Obviously we’d love Meier or Hertl but I can’t imagine the Sharks letting them go.
