Not really an overpayment for Danault. He is very good defensively and would be a great 2C and would put up 55-60 points with Reinhart i bet

He hasn’t played above the third pair, was awful in the playoffs, and has no arbitration rights. The only way he makes more than 3 if he gets offersheeted

I think it is fair value for Danault's talent, but it's probably an overpayment considering he is one year away from unrestricted free agency.

The man has never put up more then 53 points so its more then fair.

Ristolainen is not a cap dump he is a very good hockey player. I guarantee if he was on any other team than Buffalo people would love him. He’s overplayed here and it’s time for a change for him and the Sabres
