Description
I have to assume the Wild will ink Brodin this summer if they want to (can) keep him. I'm in camp Brodin over camp Dumba if we have to move one. Since I don't want to move him, I'm sending Zuccarello to Edmonton for Neal in hopes we can make a deal with Seattle to take him in the expansion draft. Pretty sure Stalock is going to get moved so I put him in the Edmonton deal. I also included a trade for Korpisalo since lord knows we need a goalie if we move Brodin. Columbus fans take pity, I have only the faintest clue what you would need for him. Also, GERRY TIME. Because why not?

I would have thought wild would keep Stalock for expansion purposes. Need to expose someone

Columbus deal isn't horrid (I like Donato), but I think both our teams need top-6 forwards, and this trade doesn't get Columbus closer to that. You're a lot better than every Leafs fan on this site, so good job there.

Out of curiosity, what’s a good Korpisalo trade for you guys? I doubt Minnesota could put the right package together.

Brodin would have to agree to an extension first. Also, I wouldn’t add a pick, at least not that high, to Strome.

Realistically, drop the pick completely. Brodin is a solid defenseman, but his lack of offense and the difference in age makes it about even (assuming Chicago knows what it’ll take to extend Brodin). I’d rather the Wild package Brodin for a better center though.

I think because we need top-6 scoring that Korpi would ideally be used as part of a package to get such a player (e.g. Nuge, Nylander etc.), and if we're not able to then we'd keep him rather than trade him for futures. Personally, I wouldn't mind trading him for a guy like Dylan Strome, but a lot of CBJ fans would disagree with me and I get that.
