2C Ideas for DET

Created by: HockeyNut82

Salary Cap Mode: Basic
Description
Looking for a way to get a 2C to around the same age as DETs young core. Strome was an idea, as CHI is cap heavy and thinking that can't sign him. What would people think it would take to get Strome's rights for DET. Not trying to short change CHI too much, as these cap relief deals don't seem to be coming too cheap recently. I'd make more moves for DET, but wanted to concentrate on 2C here, that's why I didn't address back up G.

Any other 2C ideas from other teams?

Now excuse me while I go huddle in the corner in the fetal position as I prepare to get my ass kicked from the comments below.....

More than Svech for sure. Probably something like a B-prospect and 32 OA

Yeah I’d probably want 32+ as well. That said, of Strome would sign for 3x2 like you have here, I imagine the Hawks would keep him.

I’d rather go after a Stepan/Statsny/Bozak for cheap and then flip them at TDL since they all have one year left.

I would like to keep Strome, the futures would be nice, but there’s a small chance they ever become an NHL player.

Also Chicago could buyout or Trade Smith, Maata,or de Haan, and we'll have 10 Million + in cap, and for 2 million dollars Strome would stay
but If Chicago were to trade him it would be for Brodin, Lindell, or top 15 pick

I wouldn't mind this either.... to use for the year then flip to gain futures/assets, but I was thinking Strome as a piece that would stick around.

Any other 2C ideas?

Ones that aren't cap dumps, looking for a 2C to stick around.

Makes sense, another option without giving up futures/prospects could be a show me deal for Haula. I’d be worried trading significant assets for Strome and signing him to a long-term extensions based on production he’s had with Kane & Cat. He’s not a PKer, doesn’t have great skating, and has bad possession numbers.
